“Single Magistrate Teanneki Nemta recently spent four weeks at the Office of the People’s Lawyer (OPL) as her placement for The University of the South Pacific, Professional Diploma of Legal Practice (PDLP) program on her way to becoming a qualified lawyer.

High Court Outer Island Trip to Butaritari

In August 2013, two lawyers from the Office of the People’s Lawyer, Kanrooti Aukitino and Andrea Hadaway, joined with a lawyer from the Attorney General’s Office, Tewia Tawita, to talk to 140 students at JSS Butaritari in Forms 1, 2 and 3 .
